Accessible Web Design

Crizza2000 is the personal webpage of Christopher James. It is a place to showcase recent work and offer services to those who are looking for professional web development. My specialist area is usability & developing web sites using valid XHTML and CSS. Without getting too technical this means that the sites are accessible to people using a wide range of software and devices in line with the disability discrimination act

// About Me

I currently produce accessible websites as a freelancer, and have worked in the field of usability for many years. I have over 8 years experience producing websites, and often lecture at the University of East London on their interactive media degree. I collaborate very closely with a small group of professionals who have expertise in their respective fields, benefiting from specialist knowledge and abilities to deliver solutions to deadline and budget.

I have worked for a wide range of clients, from individuals up to small & medium sized organisations. If you are looking for a cheap, off-the-peg website solution, I’m probably the wrong person for the job, as those who will benefit from my services will be clients who recognise the need for custom, hand-coded and robust solutions that are cheap to maintain and manage, not those generated by a generic web-authoring application that end up costing £100+ each time you wish to change a paragraph of text.
